Renaud Lacipiere, the founder of The French Guys in Seattle!
Renaud is a traditional pastry chef who brings the authentic flavors and techniques of French cuisine to Seattle. His passion for pastry and food, makes him an indispensable figure in the Puget Sound area.
Renaud has been baking since he was 15 years old. Before moving to Seattle in 2019, Renaud developed his skills in France, working in famous bakeries and pastry shops, and teaching the art of French Pastry in several pastry schools.
Renaud then spent two years at the renowned Seattle French pastry shop La Parisienne, where he refined his craft to perfection, delighting Seattle residents with his delicious, crispy baguettes and other traditional French breads.
Thibault, the co-founder of The French Guys, honed his expertise in management through his experience working across multiple departments at Amazon.
Renaud and Thibault both moved from France to Seattle in 2019 but didn’t know each other until the meet on a ski slope in Snoqualmie. They launched the French Guys to share their love for French pastries with the people of Seattle.

Their goal is to offer authentic French pastries and excellent beverages, such as local coffees and finest teas. They managed to reach their goal as they have made The French Guys a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike.
